Signed photo of General George C. Marshall. Photo inscribed, "To Major General Leon Johnson with warm regards GC Marshall." 14" x 11" portrait. New York: Philippe Halsman, c. 1946.

George Marshall, the man responsible for "running the show" in World War II, is portrayed by Philippe Halsman, one of the preeminent photographers of the era. Corners lightly bumped and some faint soiling to white border, otherwise near fine.
