A beautiful brown and gilt encrusted urn with hand painted gilt florals and foliate scrolls throughout. blue enamel jewels to the gilt areas. The central image is of a lovely brunet woman in soft white and pink garbs. Artist signed "Kier" Marked to the underside base.

Restoration to the lid with 3 hairlines. The reverse side the edge and part of the middle raised gilt area has had restoration. The circular band with turquoise beads down to the base has had extensive restoration. Despite the condition issues, this presents very nicely. The portrait is original along with the upper quadrant including the neck handles and the base.
