Description
These are a fabulous pair of Mexican sterling silver salad servers in the Aztec pattern by Hector Aguilar of Taxco Mexico, c.1950. The fork measures 8-3/4 inches in length and the tynes are 2 inches wide at the widest point. The spoon measures 8-3/4 inches in length and the bowl is 1-7/8 X 2-7/8 inches. They are marked on the back of the handles with the makers mark for Hector Aguilar, Sterling, Taxco, and the Eagle with the #9 for the years 1948-1962 Each is stamped "Taxco" , "Sterling" and with Hector Aguilar's makers mark. This pair is in excellent to very good condition having a small dent to the back of the spoon and minor wear. Classic Mexican silver at it's best.
