IMPORTANT 1936 ALBERT EINSTEIN ALS SIGNED LETTER: Hand written letter by Albert Einstein, dated December 30, 1936 to a Mr. Billikoph regarding the discrimination against Jews in Austria. Written in German, the translation as follows. "Dear Mr. Billikoph, After careful study I am sending the article back. The stand of the Austrian government regarding the Jewish question is very interesting and plausible, a certain must from discrimination to our protection against the people. There is certainly something to it. (Refer to American Universities). I was happy to hear the planned marriage is alive again. The notice of content was very short, and I found the same approximately four weeks ago in the Times. With friendly greetings to you and your children, Your A. Einstein." Letter also has the word "File" written at the top center in another hand. Framed with brass plaques, sight size of letter is 6 1/2" x 4 1/2", frame 33 1/4" x 16 1/2".
