Description
Here is a Qing Dynasty hand-painted hand-enameled porcelain serving bowl with lid with top. This shows a fox hunt with horse-backed hunters and their dogs. Was made for the Western market. On the bottom of this piece is the Qianlong (1736-1795) six character archaic reign period mark. The serving bowl is approx 11" x 10" x 7". It's in good, antique condition with some discoloration due to age. The reign of the Qianlong Emperor saw an artistic peak and the initial decline in prosperity and imperial control. The Qing multi-cultural empire lasted almost three centuries and formed the territorial base for the modern Chinese state.
