Description
A set of 11 Peruvian sterling silver bread and butter plates with a scalloped edge by Camusso, circa 1950's, each marked under the rim, also marked with a museum accession number. Each measures 6.75" in diameter. 61.41 ozt. The Camusso silver company was founded in 1933 in Lima, Peru by Italian silversmith Carlo Mario Camusso Grasso. Provenance: From the Beltran-Kropp Collection, formerly housed at the Sante Fe Museum of Colonial Art.
