A George VI sterling silver gilt and enamel presentation key, Birmingham 1937 by Lloyd, Paine & Amiel Fluted form with ornate openwork and engraved terminal with an inset enamel plaque painted with a coat of arms of Oldham with the motto Sapere Aude, the obverse engraved with an inscription reading “Presented to Alderman J. Wilkinson on the occasion of the opening of Stoneleigh Park, September 27th 1938”. Fully marked to the bit. Length – 16 cm / 6.25 inches Weight – 80 grams / 2.57 ozt
