Sharp Partial Gilt Coin Silver Server with Applied Turtle, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, circa 1865 Marks: (lion-S-shield), BAILEY & Co., PATENT 1866 11-1/2 inches (29.2 cm) 5.1 troy ounces Property from the Collection of John and Maggie Olson The turtle server, with applied turtle figure to root, and monogrammed McC to terminal end.

Presenting beautifully, with minor rubbing to gilding, and minutely bent to tip of one tine, otherwise with wear indicative of age and moderate use.
